Look Who Is ONE!!!

What a wonderful day June 26, 2007 was. It was Charlotte's first birthday! Fun, family and friends were all at Nana LueLue and Papa Tiger's house for the big celebration. Charlotte had a wonderful time eating her cupcake and enjoying her new toys. Charlotte has made this past year so much more fun. We are so lucky to have her in our family and now really lucky that she and her Mommy and Daddy are so close by. Happy, happy birthday Charlotte and many, many more my sweet girl.

Bathtime for Babies!

It is always fun when Nolan or Charlotte have bathtime at Nana LueLue's house in the kitchen sink! They both love to splash around and play with the rubber duckies. You can see how much they have grown. What joy they both bring to our lives.

Red Sox Fans!!

The Red Sox season has begun and two of their smallest fans are ready to cheer them on. Charlotte and Nolan are hoping that the Red Sox beat the Yankees all season long and breeze to another World Series victory.
These babies are best buddies and are enjoying growing up together.

Big Boy Louis!

Louis is growing so tall and strong. He can now accomplish so much on the jungle bars at the playground but the really big news is that Louis has been riding his two wheeler without training wheels for months and months! He is such a sweet "handful". A dynamo that is full of questions that we all find very hard to answer. Louis is a wonderful little brother to Camille and a great cousin to Charlotte and Nolan.

Busy June for Camille!

This June was very busy for Camille. Her kidergarden class hosted a wonderful breakfast at the KJ Cafe! Mommy, Daddy, Papa Tiger and Nana LueLue all enjoyed muffins, bagels and a variety of juice that were served to us by "waitress" Camille.
If that wasn't enough, our family all got to enjoy her fabulous performance, in her poodle skirt, the night of her dancing recital. She truly SPARKLED on the stage.
A few days later, Camille bridged from Daisy level to a full fledged Brownie in Girl Scouts. So many milestones in her life. Her teeth are falling out so fast that the tooth fairy has frequent flyer miles to the Fay household. Our first grandchild is growing so fast it is hard to believe that she started the parade of babies 6 1/2 years ago. With Papa Tiger at the KJ Cafe!
Flowers for our little dancer.

A trip to Disney

It has been quite a while since I have written anything on this blog. I will try to update the goings on in our family. I will start with the wonderful trip that Tiger and I took with our beautiful daughter, Andrea, and her family to Disney, in May.

The weather was beautiful, much drier than the trip two years ago, and full of wonder and excitement for Camille and Louis. Everything was new to the children and new to us again through their eyes. Just the looks on their faces when the parade through Epcot began, made the entire trip worth while.

Louis was in his glory when he got to meet Buzz! Of course Camille had the time of her life having dinner in a beautiful castle with all of the Disney Princesses and her Mommy and Nana LueLue.

The Fay Family is rushing to Epcot to start a wonderful vacation in Disney.

Easter, 2007

Nolan and the Easter Bunny!!

Camille, Louis and the Easter Bunny!!

Another wonderful holiday was spent together. Big Nana, Lauren, Paul and Charlotte, Elise, Richie and Nolan, and Tiger and I were invited to Andrea and David's house to enjoy wonderful family, fun and food. We celebrated the holy holiday of Easter as well as Big Nana's 88th birthday. The weather was a bit colder than we would have liked it but it didn't put a damper on the Easter Egg hunt that was held in the yard. Both Camille and Louis had a lot of success finding all the candy and money filled eggs that the Easter Bunny left for them. As always, Papa Tiger and Nana LueLue just love to spend time with all the grandchildren. We are truly blessed to have not only wonderful children (spouses included) but fabulous grandchildren too. We hope everyone enjoyed their holiday and wish you all a very happy spring!

Here is Charlotte wishing Big Nana a Happy Birthday!!

The "C" Cousins

Just a note to let everyone see how much Charlotte looks like her big cousin Camille. These sweet little girls look like their Papa Tiger. Charlotte has cut her two bottom teeth and Camille has two new secondary teeth on the bottom and just lost her first top tooth on her way home from Puerto Rico. Just love these little girls with their beautiful smiles.

Welcome Home Big Nana

Although Big Nana isn't one of the Fay, Ward or Joyce Babies, she means so much to them and to all of us we had to say Welcome Home Big Nana!! We are all so glad that you are feeling better and will be able to celebrate the holidays with us!!

Nolan's First Christmas

Christmas was all that it was cracked up to be!!! A great birthday party for baby Jesus on Christmas Eve and a lot of celebrating all week long. I love my Mommy and Daddy so much and want to thank them for the best Christmas I ever had!!!

Gingerbread Girl

When Nana was baking her gingerbread people, she must have put a lot of baking powder in one of them because look at what she got! Gingerbread Charlotte!!! She is delicious!

Christmas At Our House

What a wonderful year! Nana came home from the rehabilitation center and is feeling great. That was the best Christmas gift that any of us could ask for. This year we had our new babies to join us for our holiday celebrations. God is good to us and he blessed us this year with Charlotte and Nolan. Nana Lue Lue and Papa Tiger visited with the Wards in CT a few weeks before the holiday. Nana got to see Charlotte sit on Santa's knee. She never made a peep, she just loved him! Nana Lue Lue also had a pleasure of being with Camille, Louis and Nolan when they visited with Santa. Camille was so great and helpful. She reminded Santa that her baby cousins couldn't talk so she took the opportunity to ask Santa to remember to bring them "baby toys". What a helper she is! Louis was also fabulous. He really enjoyed sitting on Santa's lap and telling him how much he wanted pajamas! Papa Tiger and Nana had a wonderful meal at Elise and Richie's house a few nights before Christmas. It was great to see how beautifully their house was decorated and how far it has come in a short time. Christmas eve the Fays and the Joyces joined Nana and Papa for Mass at St. Joseph's Church. We then all ate a traditional fish feast that Nana Lue Lue prepared. Camille and Louis decorated gingerbread people that Nana baked for them. Christmas Day, Elise and Richie were with the Joyce Family and they had a great day. Big Nana, Nana Lue Lue and Papa Tiger went to Andrea and David's house. She had the house decorated like a Christmas show house. Their great room was full of gifts that were scattered around their huge tree. Camille exclaimed, "We must have been at the top of his list!! There are a million presents!" As always Andrea did a fabulous job. Our dinner was enjoyed by our family and also by Hope, Justin and Eli. Later Andrea and David's friends joined us for dessert. The festivities didn't end on Christmas because we had the pleasure of having Lauren, Paul and Charlotte come to MA on Friday. They stayed at Andrea's house but we had another Christmas dinner on Friday night at Nana and Papa's. More gifts, fun and as always laughs and plenty of food. Paul's New Year's Eve birthday was a party at Andrea's house. We enjoyed Chinese food and played games. Camille and Louis made Uncle Paul cookies and gave the birthday boy a "sparklie" crown that he wore for them! It was wonderful having everyone together and enjoying the holiday and to have it last for a week was just great! The family wishes all our family and friends a healthy, happy 2007. God bless our family and our wonderful friends.

Camille Is Six!

What a wonderful celebration! Camille turned six years old on November 29th. A great party was held in her honor. Camille had a Tiger cake and all of her friends had their faces painted and wore great animal costumes while they filmed a video for her. This Safari party is one that we will all remember for a long time! It was so much fun to see Louis, Nolan and Camille's friends enjoy themselves so much. Camille says "Thanks" to everyone for coming to her party!

Christening

On the Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 25, 2006, Charlotte Ward and Nolan Joyce were baptized in St. Joseph's Church in Needham, MA. Charlotte's mommy and daddy, Lauren and Paul, chose Nolan's mommy and daddy, Aunty Elise and Uncle Richie to be her Godparents. Nolan's mommy and daddy chose Aunty Andrea and Uncle David to be his Godparents. Fr. Amano was wonderful to agree to baptize the babies on a special day. After the baptism, our extended families gathered togethter, at Apollo II in Norwood, to celebrate the happy, holy occasion with a lovely lunch. God bless the newest additions to our family and the family of the Roman Catholic Church.

Happy Thanksgiving!

On this rainy Thanksgiving Day we are thankful for our healthy, happy grandchildren. This year we all have much to thank God for. The birth of two new babies, Charlotte and Nolan, and the continued enjoyment that Camille and Louis bring to our family. It was a treat to see Pilgrim Camille perform in her kindergarten play. Her Mommy, Daddy, Aunty EE, baby Nolan, Papa and Nana all smiled and clapped as she sang her holiday songs and then enjoyed the wonderful feast that was prepared for her classmates. On Thanksgiving Day we celebrated at Papa and Nana's house and we were thrilled to have Big Nana here to enjoy her great grandchildren. She was so happy to have her family around here and enjoy our delicious meal. We are all now looking forward to a great weekend including the baptisms of Charlotte and Nolan on Saturday. The Fay, Ward and Joyce families wish all our friends Happy Holidays and hope that we all remember the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of our Saviour.

Happy Birthday Papa

Our family gathered together for a BIG celebration on November 11. Papa Tiger turned 60 and all of his children, their spouses and his grandchildren celebrated with him and Nana LueLue at Blue on Highland, in Needham. The food and the festivities were wonderful. To see all of us gathered with him brought a tear to his eye. We then moved the party to Briarwood so that Big Nana could share some of the fun. Papa Tiger enjoyed his favorite chocolate cake with butter cream frosting.....and so did the rest of us. It was a long exhausting day for the babies but they were able to catch a few winks while we ate the delicious cake. Later the boys enjoyed celebrating at the BC football game while the rest of us shopped at the new Bloomingdale's. We wish Papa Tiger the happiest of birthdays and hope that we all celebrate many, many more with him.

Halloween

It certainly was Halloween around here!! On Halloween morning a trip was made to Wellesley to see Camille before she went off to school to participate in her Halloween Parade as Stephanie from Lazy Town. She looked fabulous and was so excited to be in a parade. I snapped this shot in the morning so Louis wasn't in the great Spiderman suit that he wore out later that evening. As you can guess, I was pleasantly surprised to see my sweet Charlotte arrive (via email) dressed as a pumpkin. I told her mommy that she was sweet enough to end up in my pie. Better keep her away from me while I am baking! Nolan spent some of his first halloween visiting with his friend Nora and the rest of the time sleeping close to his mommy's heart in his sling. Later that night, Nolan was a ghost but he didn't scare any of us, he is too cute to scare anyone! We will now be planning our great Thanksgiving feast and thanking God that we are all together for another celebration.

Fun Family Weekend

On Thursday afternoon, Uncle Paul, Auntie Lala and baby Charlotte took a trip to Medfield to meet the newest addition to our family, Nolan! I think that the meeting went very well since Nolan was happy to share his new seat with his big cousin. The two babies had the time of their lives just being cuddled by their beautiful mothers. It was amazing for all of us to see how much Charlotte had grown. Even though Nolan had an 11 oz. weight increase in only 3 days, he was still a tiny muffin next to our little angel cake, Charlotte!

Our Family

Hi! I would like to welcome you to my blog. I hope to keep my family and friends updated with stories and photos about the beautiful, healthy grandchildren that my husband and I have been blessed with. Our family is ever growing and changing. Recently two new additions have been added to our family. My granddaughter, Camille, (age 5 1/2), and her brother, Louis, (age 3), welcomed a beautiful baby cousin, Charlotte, on 06/26/06 and just a few days ago on 10/04/06, the score was evened up by welcoming another beautiful baby cousin, Nolan! Our new babies were tiny when they came into the world. Charlotte weighed in at 6 pounds 1 oz at birth but is growing in leaps and bounds and already out of her three month size clothes. Nolan was also a little muffin and weighed 6 pounds 12 oz at birth. Our grandchildren are lucky to have such wonderful parents. Andrea and David are the proud mommy and daddy to Camille and Louis, Lauren and Paul are the thrilled parents of Charlotte and Nolan is sleeping calmly in the room of amazed Elise and Richie!
