Happy Birthday Papa

Louis and Nana baked a wonderful train cake for Papa for his birthday.  Louis did most of the work, he even cracked the eggs himself!  Papa was so surprised to see that it was a train because we fooled him and told him that it was a dinosaur cake to trick him.  We didn't put much frosting on the chocolate cake but we had plenty of butter cream to add if you wanted.  Also, vanilla and mint chocolate chip ice cream.
Of course this delicious dessert was after a nice family dinner together at Nana and Papa's house.
I wish I got a photo of Louis's beautiful face, like I did of the other kids, but he was so busy singing to his Papa that I only got the back of his head!

Elmo and his friend Nolan

OK....so, maybe a visit to Elmo wasn't the best idea that I have had.

Halloween

A few photos of Halloween.  Camille was a High School Cheerleader.  Charlotte was a princess and Nolan was Superman.  I don't have a photo of Louis but he was the best Storm Trooper ever!

Pumpkin Picking

Pumpkin Picking

On a beautiful autumn day all of "My babies" took a trip to Millis for a great day of pumpkin picking and painting. We had a hay ride that took us out to the pumpkin fields. There the children were able to choose their pumpkins. After a ride back to the barn, they got to paint their pumpkins anyway they wanted. From these photos you will see that they were very intent on designing beautiful pumpkins!

Nolan is Two!!

Happy Birthday Nolan!!

Happy Birthday Nolan!
It was a wonderful Choo Choo Train Party for Nolan's second birthday.
His cousins and friends were there to share in all the fun.
All the children decorated train cookies and we even got some gymnastic entertainment from them!
Nolan was so happy to have everyone that he loves around him to help him celebrate his special day.
He loved all his presents and thanks everyone for thinking of him.
I hope that he proves that there really isn't any such thing as the
"Terrible Twos"

Happy Birthday!!

September is a special celebration month for my girls.
We spent last Sunday afternoon celebrating Andrea's and Elise's birthdays.
We had a great dinner and delicious red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.
Nolan was in love with the cupcakes and tried and tried to eat them as fast as he could. He decided that just dropping his little mouth right onto the cupcake was a good plan of attack.
All the grandchildren were great and sang happy birthday to both EE and E ah.
Happiness and health to both of the girls and we all wish them many more wonderful years.

Aruba

Love letters in the sand

Another wonderful trip to Aruba. This time Nolan got to see it with his own eyes. Last time he was there he was in his mommy's belly! Nolan loved the iguanas and was pointing them out to everyone. The Lazy River was wonderful to just relax and enjoy the sites.

A BIG SMILE

I just had to add this photo of the four of them brushing their teeth! Just loved it.

BACK TO SCHOOL

Back to school for the Fay Children!!! Camille started second grade at the Fiske School and Louis has one more year of pre-school at Little Red Wagon. I know that they will have a great productive year of learning and will enjoy all the fun activitives that are planned.

End of Summer

It was a wonderful end to the summer. All three of the families were down the Cape with us to share in the celebration of Labor Day. The beach was great, the weather fabulous and the food delicious. The kids got to enjoy the sand and the water for a last dip before school started. Charlotte wasn't able to join us on the beach because she was running a temp but she made a quick recovery and was back to herself in no time.
We are all looking forward to a great winter and hoping that we might be able to squeeze a few more beach weekends down the Cape before the cool September breezes force us to turn up the heat!

Uncle Paul had fun with the kids, putting mustashes on all of them!

Road Race Weekend

Unlike past years, only Hilliary competed in the race. I shouldn't say only because she made a great showing for her first time in the race. Injuries kept everyone else out of the race but we are hoping that next year we will have a few more running. The only photos that I got were of all the babies that were cheering Hilliary on. Charlotte, Rowan (Hilliary's little girl), Nolan (Hilliary's boyfriend!), and Nora. The babies had a blast and I really think that Nolan has found his first love....I guess he is into older women!

A Whole Hand!

Louis turned five on July 27th. He had a great shark pool party at the club. All of his friends had so much fun swimming and eating "Shark" cake. He showed all of us what a great swimmer he is and also how much fun can be had playing sports inside the club. Happy Birthday to Louis and we all hope you have a great year!
