Ice Cream and Back to School!

As always, we made many trips to our favorite ice cream spot in Falmouth, Ghelfi's! Camille has been a long time patron and has had her photo taken in front of Ghelfi's every year since she was just a baby. After much encouragement from Camille, Louis is finally starting to like ice cream but it best be "white" or he doesn't want it. Anyone that knows Camille knows that her favorite is Cotton Candy flavor and she would eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner! When not on the Cape she has to settle for Mint Chocolate Chip.
As September approached, it was time for back to school shopping and all the sign ups for after school activities. Camille is in first grade and taking dancing and singing lessons as well as participating in CCD and Brownies. Louis is in pre-school and after school sports classes. At a recent sport class he was the only little guy that was able to shoot the ball into the basket. Nana LueLue was lucky enough to see him sink the ball.
We all hope and pray that this is a happy, successful school year for both children and that maybe we might make a few trips to the Cape for ice cream this fall.

Chilling at the Cape

Another summer is coming to an end. As every year, the summer just flew by. We had hoped that the additional rooms at the Cape house would be completed by Memorial Day..........Fourth of July..........Labor Day.......we are now hoping that maybe by next Memorial Day! The children really enjoy the beach. Charlotte and Nolan had a blast splashing along the shore, and Camille and Louis just had so much fun swimming, hunting for crabs, shells, sea glass and building sand castles.

Looking forward to a more relaxed, less stressful autumn!!

Louis is 4 years old!!

It was a wonderful celebration! Louis turned 4 years old on July 27. A great party was held at Build A Bear and later cake was served. Many of Louis's friends and family were there. John, Robert, Joseph, Tyler were a few of them. His big sister Camille and little cousin Nolan were there to help celebrate too. Nana Nancy made the trip down from NH and Nana LueLue took all the photos! Louis loved his Batman Cake and he thanked everyone for coming to help him have so much fun on his special day. See how I have grown!!!!!!!

Happy Fourth of July

Although we had some minor detours during our Fourth of July vacation, it was still a ton of fun and the children truly enjoyed the parade that they participated in. Charlotte was starry eyed as she watched the parade pass by but Nolan decided that it was time for a little nap. Both Camille and Louis had a blast decorating their bikes for the anual event.

Look Who Is ONE!!!

What a wonderful day June 26, 2007 was. It was Charlotte's first birthday! Fun, family and friends were all at Nana LueLue and Papa Tiger's house for the big celebration. Charlotte had a wonderful time eating her cupcake and enjoying her new toys. Charlotte has made this past year so much more fun. We are so lucky to have her in our family and now really lucky that she and her Mommy and Daddy are so close by. Happy, happy birthday Charlotte and many, many more my sweet girl.

Bathtime for Babies!

It is always fun when Nolan or Charlotte have bathtime at Nana LueLue's house in the kitchen sink! They both love to splash around and play with the rubber duckies. You can see how much they have grown. What joy they both bring to our lives.

Red Sox Fans!!

The Red Sox season has begun and two of their smallest fans are ready to cheer them on. Charlotte and Nolan are hoping that the Red Sox beat the Yankees all season long and breeze to another World Series victory.
These babies are best buddies and are enjoying growing up together.

Big Boy Louis!

Louis is growing so tall and strong. He can now accomplish so much on the jungle bars at the playground but the really big news is that Louis has been riding his two wheeler without training wheels for months and months! He is such a sweet "handful". A dynamo that is full of questions that we all find very hard to answer. Louis is a wonderful little brother to Camille and a great cousin to Charlotte and Nolan.

Busy June for Camille!

This June was very busy for Camille. Her kidergarden class hosted a wonderful breakfast at the KJ Cafe! Mommy, Daddy, Papa Tiger and Nana LueLue all enjoyed muffins, bagels and a variety of juice that were served to us by "waitress" Camille.
If that wasn't enough, our family all got to enjoy her fabulous performance, in her poodle skirt, the night of her dancing recital. She truly SPARKLED on the stage.
A few days later, Camille bridged from Daisy level to a full fledged Brownie in Girl Scouts. So many milestones in her life. Her teeth are falling out so fast that the tooth fairy has frequent flyer miles to the Fay household. Our first grandchild is growing so fast it is hard to believe that she started the parade of babies 6 1/2 years ago. With Papa Tiger at the KJ Cafe!
Flowers for our little dancer.

A trip to Disney

It has been quite a while since I have written anything on this blog. I will try to update the goings on in our family. I will start with the wonderful trip that Tiger and I took with our beautiful daughter, Andrea, and her family to Disney, in May.

The weather was beautiful, much drier than the trip two years ago, and full of wonder and excitement for Camille and Louis. Everything was new to the children and new to us again through their eyes. Just the looks on their faces when the parade through Epcot began, made the entire trip worth while.

Louis was in his glory when he got to meet Buzz! Of course Camille had the time of her life having dinner in a beautiful castle with all of the Disney Princesses and her Mommy and Nana LueLue.

The Fay Family is rushing to Epcot to start a wonderful vacation in Disney.

Easter, 2007

Nolan and the Easter Bunny!!

Camille, Louis and the Easter Bunny!!

Another wonderful holiday was spent together. Big Nana, Lauren, Paul and Charlotte, Elise, Richie and Nolan, and Tiger and I were invited to Andrea and David's house to enjoy wonderful family, fun and food. We celebrated the holy holiday of Easter as well as Big Nana's 88th birthday. The weather was a bit colder than we would have liked it but it didn't put a damper on the Easter Egg hunt that was held in the yard. Both Camille and Louis had a lot of success finding all the candy and money filled eggs that the Easter Bunny left for them. As always, Papa Tiger and Nana LueLue just love to spend time with all the grandchildren. We are truly blessed to have not only wonderful children (spouses included) but fabulous grandchildren too. We hope everyone enjoyed their holiday and wish you all a very happy spring!

Here is Charlotte wishing Big Nana a Happy Birthday!!
