Happy Thanksgiving!

On this rainy Thanksgiving Day we are thankful for our healthy, happy grandchildren. This year we all have much to thank God for. The birth of two new babies, Charlotte and Nolan, and the continued enjoyment that Camille and Louis bring to our family. It was a treat to see Pilgrim Camille perform in her kindergarten play. Her Mommy, Daddy, Aunty EE, baby Nolan, Papa and Nana all smiled and clapped as she sang her holiday songs and then enjoyed the wonderful feast that was prepared for her classmates. On Thanksgiving Day we celebrated at Papa and Nana's house and we were thrilled to have Big Nana here to enjoy her great grandchildren. She was so happy to have her family around here and enjoy our delicious meal. We are all now looking forward to a great weekend including the baptisms of Charlotte and Nolan on Saturday. The Fay, Ward and Joyce families wish all our friends Happy Holidays and hope that we all remember the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of our Saviour.

Happy Birthday Papa

Our family gathered together for a BIG celebration on November 11. Papa Tiger turned 60 and all of his children, their spouses and his grandchildren celebrated with him and Nana LueLue at Blue on Highland, in Needham. The food and the festivities were wonderful. To see all of us gathered with him brought a tear to his eye. We then moved the party to Briarwood so that Big Nana could share some of the fun. Papa Tiger enjoyed his favorite chocolate cake with butter cream frosting.....and so did the rest of us. It was a long exhausting day for the babies but they were able to catch a few winks while we ate the delicious cake. Later the boys enjoyed celebrating at the BC football game while the rest of us shopped at the new Bloomingdale's. We wish Papa Tiger the happiest of birthdays and hope that we all celebrate many, many more with him.

Halloween

It certainly was Halloween around here!! On Halloween morning a trip was made to Wellesley to see Camille before she went off to school to participate in her Halloween Parade as Stephanie from Lazy Town. She looked fabulous and was so excited to be in a parade. I snapped this shot in the morning so Louis wasn't in the great Spiderman suit that he wore out later that evening. As you can guess, I was pleasantly surprised to see my sweet Charlotte arrive (via email) dressed as a pumpkin. I told her mommy that she was sweet enough to end up in my pie. Better keep her away from me while I am baking! Nolan spent some of his first halloween visiting with his friend Nora and the rest of the time sleeping close to his mommy's heart in his sling. Later that night, Nolan was a ghost but he didn't scare any of us, he is too cute to scare anyone! We will now be planning our great Thanksgiving feast and thanking God that we are all together for another celebration.
